As a Private Client Tax Assistant Manager, you will be supporting a diverse portfolio of clients, including high-net-worth individuals, business owners, and non-UK domiciled individuals, ensuring that their tax affairs are managed efficiently and compliantly. You will work closely with senior members of the team, gaining exposure to complex tax issues and building your expertise in private client tax. Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive tax planning and advisory services to a diverse client base
- Manage and oversee the tax compliance process, ensuring all deadlines are met
- Develop and maintain client relationships, acting as a trusted adviser
- Assist in training and mentoring junior staff within the team
- Contribute to business development activities, identifying new client opportunities
Requirements:
- ACA/CTA or equivalent qualification, or part-qualified
- Strong understanding of UK tax legislation and HMRC compliance
- Must have previous experience working within a UK Practice environment
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex tax issues clearly
- A proactive, problem-solving approach and keen attention to detail
