Position: HV Technician

Job Description: Due to the continued growth of the HV Department, we are seeking a HV Technician to carry out maintenance across the portfolio of PV and BESS sites, attend and rectify faults where possible, train/mentor our HV AP's to continue the growth of the internal department, work closely with the HV management team to carry out remedial works across the portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

High and Low Voltage networks, conducting and controlling switching operations limited to solar, or energy storage plants. (Boundary will be from the Customer Incoming Circuit breaker to the LV isolator.)

Undertake maintenance on HV equipment ranging from 6kv - 132kv

Applying control measures to ensure that when maintenance is carried out, all significant hazards have been removed.

Requirements:

* Gold JIB Card or NVQ level 3/AM2 or equivalent approved electrician status required

* BS#removed#th edition wiring regulations

* HVAP or SAP qualification
