Assembly Operative - Masking & Bonding

Salary: Up to £30,000 per annum
Location: Near Uxbridge, Middlesex
Hours: Mon-Thurs 08:00-17:00 / Fri 08:00-12:00 (37 hours per week)

We're hiring for a hands-on Assembly Operative - Masking & Bonding to join a specialist manufacturing team near Uxbridge. You'll be preparing, masking, bonding, and curing aerospace-grade components using precision tools and adhesives. This is a great opportunity to join a well-established engineering business producing safety-critical products for the aerospace sector.

Assembly Operative Benefits:

Assembly Operative Responsibilities:

Follow technical drawings and instructions to build assemblies using prepared kits of parts

Mask components accurately for aluminium oxide blasting

Apply adhesive (e.g. Araldite) and complete bonding operations

Oven-cure bonded assemblies to meet technical specifications

Clean excess adhesive and prepare assemblies for inspection

Maintain high standards of accuracy and cleanliness throughout the process

What We're Looking For:

Experience in bonding, masking, or mechanical assembly 

Able to follow work instructions and engineering drawings

Comfortable using adhesives, hand tools, and working with ovens

Great attention to detail and methodical in approach

Reliable team player with a hands-on attitude
