Nursery Room Leader - Level 3

Salary: Up to £31,000

40 hours per week

We are looking for a Nursery Room Leader to provide high-quality care and education for children in our client's nursery. The ideal candidate will be passionate about working with young children, possess strong leadership skills, and be committed to creating an inclusive and positive learning environment. The setting is bright and modern, featuring separate rooms and gardens designed for different age groups. Rated Good by Ofsted, it offers exceptional childcare and education for children from birth to 5 years old.

Qualifications

• A Level 3 in Early Years (or above)
• Proven experience in a childcare setting, with some experience in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Knowledge of child development and early years curriculum.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of nursery staff in providing a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment for children.
• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and educational programs that promote children's development and learning.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
• Ensure that the nursery meets and exceeds all statutory requirements and follows best practice guidelines.
• Support the professional development of nursery staff through mentorship and training.
