About the Role:

As a Looked After Children's Social Worker, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children in care. Your responsibilities will include:

* Conducting thorough assessments of children's needs and circumstances

* Developing and implementing comprehensive care plans

* Building strong relationships with children, families, and carers

* Advocating for the best interests of children in court proceedings and reviews

* Collaborating with multi-agency professionals to ensure coordinated support

* Monitoring children's progress and making necessary adjustments to care plans

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

* A relevant social work qualification (e.g., DipSW, CQSW, MA in Social Work)

* Registration with Social Work England

* Significant experience working with Looked After Children

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
