Senior Sales Negotiator - Ipswich

The Role: Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Sales Negotiator to join their team in Ipswich. This role involves the sale of residential properties and supporting the Head of Office in driving revenue, profitability, and lead generation. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in residential sales within Ipswich or a similar market.

Responsibilities:

  • Achieve individual and team revenue targets through residential property sales.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships to secure future business.
  • Source, pitch, and secure new business by developing relationships with potential clients and stakeholders.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service in person, over the phone, and via email.
  • Tailor services to meet individual client needs.
  • Manage the sales process through to completion, liaising with solicitors and keeping all parties informed.
  • Provide informed advice and expertise to clients and colleagues.
  • Network internally and externally to gain market insights and identify new business opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and external regulations, including KYC responsibilities.

Person Specification: The ideal candidate will:

  • Demonstrate a successful track record in meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Have in-depth knowledge of Ipswich and the surrounding area.
  • Possess excellent negotiation and rapport-building skills.
  • Have experience leading pitches and securing new business.
  • Fully understand the residential sales process.
  • Be familiar with all relevant regulations and AML/KYC procedures.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with team members, clients, and agents.
  • Commit to high standards and quality service.
  • Show a track record of converting market appraisals to sales revenue.
  • Remain composed under pressure.
  • Manage time effectively, prioritise workloads, and meet deadlines.
  • Exhibit excellent planning, organisational, and coordination skills.
  • Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Work well both independently and as part of a team.
  • Have proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Salary & Benefits:

  • Basic salary: £30,000
  • Car allowance: £3,500
  • Performance-based commission: 1%+ of office income, increasing with profit and performance.
  • Maximum of one Saturday per month.
