An excellent opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and dynamic secondary school in Lewisham. This full-time, long-term role is ideal for someone passionate about education and eager to support students in reaching their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide classroom support to students, ensuring they are engaged and making progress
Assist teachers in preparing learning materials and activities
Support students on a one-to-one basis or in small groups, particularly those with additional learning needs
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
Help manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
Assist with administrative tasks related to teaching and learning
Support students' social and emotional development

Requirements:

Previous experience working with children in an educational or related setting
A valid DBS check registered on the update service
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
A patient, proactive, and adaptable approach to supporting students
