My air conditioning and refrigeration client, who has been established for over 50 years, is seeking a talented Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Engineer to join the business in a permanent role in the Barnsley area.

They offer comprehensive in-house training to all engineers and often exceed the recommended guidelines for accreditation, so it's a great opportunity to grow your skills and qualifications.

Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Engineer Responsibilities:

• Effectively diagnose and identify faults and failures with equipment and systems, providing effective solutions and repairs.
• Carry out routine planned preventative maintenance
• Complete all documents associated with reactive & planned preventative maintenance works
• Liaise closely with the client (Commercial clients) to maintain excellent customer relations
• Work in a safe and controlled manor following all necessary internal health & safety processes and client specific site requirements

Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Engineer Ideal Candidate

• Experienced Refrigeration & Air conditioning engineer, with Refrigeration Handling C&G 2079 (FGas)
• An individual who has previously worked on a variety of Refrigeration Systems, Fridge, Freezers, Display Cabinets, Cold-rooms, Chillers
• Air-conditioning experience on Split A/C Systems also VRV, AHU
• Mechanical and Electrical Skills
• Full Driving license
• Ability to pass an Enhanced DBS check

Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Engineer Package

• Monday - Friday
• £38.000 - £50.000 OTE- dependant on experience
• On call Rota
• Overtime available
• 23 Day Holiday + Bank Holidays
