About the role
Reporting to the Head of Talent Acquisition, as Talent Acquisition Manager you will:

  • Oversee and optimise recruitment and selection processes within Drax.
  • Attract, assess, and hire top-quality diverse talent that aligns with Drax’s strategic objectives
  • Collaborate closely with senior stakeholders and HRBPs as trusted advisors on TA-related strategies.
  • Create annual fulfilment strategies and oversee the fulfilment of roles across career levels (CL) 1 to 8.
  • Manage the recruitment process for executive and leadership hiring at career levels 1 and 2.
  • Manage a team of Talent Acquisition Specialists
  • Lead by example and instil excellence in teams, using data-driven insights for performance management and efficiencies.

This is a 12 month fixed term contract opportunity. Travel between sites will be required.

Who we’re looking for:
We’re looking for an inspirational leader with a track record of managing and coaching high performing teams. You’ll also have:

  • Extensive knowledge and experience in recruitment practices across multiple labour markets and talent pools.
  • Ability to translate complex TA challenges and hiring demand into actionable solutions and recruitment plans
  • Inspirational leadership skills with a track record of managing and coaching high-performing teams.
  • Experience communicating to C suite Level with proven ability to counsel leaders in a compelling & impactful way.
  • Commercial acumen to align talent acquisition strategies with business goals.
  • Data-driven decision-making capabilities and strong communication skills.
  • A passion for driving change and delivering exceptional candidate and hiring manager experiences.
