We are seeking an English Teacher for a secondary school in the Faversham area. This supply role offers an immediate start and is ideal for individuals who are passionate about teaching and delivering pre-planned lessons to students.
Day-to-day of the role: - Deliver engaging English lessons to secondary school students using pre-planned materials.
- Adapt teaching methods to suit different learning styles and abilities.
- Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a positive learning environment.
- Provide feedback to students to encourage progress and address any learning gaps.
- Collaborate with teaching staff and contribute to the school community.
- Monitor and record student progress, attendance, and participation.
Required Skills & Qualifications: - Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching English at secondary school level.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Ability to deliver lessons effectively and engage students.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
