Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Business Analyst to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in gathering, analysing, and documenting business requirements to enhance their ERP platform's financial management features. This role involves working closely with stakeholders across the organization to ensure the platform meets user needs and supports business goals.

Senior Business Analyst (Accounting SaaS) - Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct detailed requirements gathering sessions with internal and external stakeholders to understand and document their needs, particularly around financial management capabilities.
• Analyze business processes and workflows, identifying areas for improvement and translating these into clear, actionable requirements.
• Collaborate with product management, engineering, and design teams to ensure requirements are understood and aligned with product development goals.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including business requirements, process maps, user stories, and use cases.
• Facilitate workshops, meetings, and presentations to communicate findings, recommendations, and updates to stakeholders.
• Support the development and implementation of new features by ensuring that requirements are accurately translated into technical specifications.
• Assist in testing and validation of new features to ensure they meet business requirements and user expectations.
• Provide ongoing support and analysis post-launch to ensure continuous improvement of the product.

Senior Business Analyst (Accounting SaaS) - Qualifications & Experience:

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within the software or technology sector, with a focus on financial management or ERP solutions.
• Strong analytical skills and experience in gathering and documenting complex business requirements.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with a proven ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience in creating user stories, process flows, and other business analysis artifacts.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail and a customer-centric mindset.
• Willingness to travel to Bristol twice a month for on-site meetings.
• A bachelor's degree in business administration, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred.
