A family-owned manufacturing company are seeking a Maintenance Engineer to join their West Midlands based manufacturing and extrusion plant.

Available due to significant growth and continued expansion, the main purpose of the role is to provide support for the site on production machines, including extrusion, injection moulding, conveyors, window fabricating and glass machinery, ensuring works are completed efficiently and with machine downtime being kept to a minimum.

As a Maintenance Engineer, your duties will include -

• Fault finding, PPM, installations and upgrades to production machines and site
• Efficient response to reactive maintenance requests, aiming for minimum disruption to production
• Ensuring all work is completed adhering to the latest Health & Safety Regulations and best practices

We are keen to speak to anyone who has -

• Completed a recognised maintenance apprenticeship
• Electrical experience, ideally with recognised qualification
• Practical hands-on maintenance experience within a production/manufacturing environment - specifically with extrusion and injection moulding
• Experience with pneumatic and hydraulic systems
• Experience of fault finding on PLC's (Siemens S5 and S7, Mitsubishi)

On offer -

• A salary of up to £45,000 (some flexibility for the right person)
• Monday - Friday, 9am - 6pm. 42.5 hours per week
• Overtime (if required) paid at time + quarter mid-week, time + half at weekends
• 28 days holiday (including bank holidays)

Based in the West Midlands, this role is commutable from Wolverhampton, Coventry, Birmingham and all surrounding areas
