Quality Assurance Operative - Egg Innovation Centre

Salary: £28,962.00

Shift: 06.00am - 18.00pm, 4on4off

Location: Lacock, Wiltshire

Stonegate is looking for a Quality Assurance Operative to join our Egg Innovation Centre. In this role, you will support quality improvement initiatives and ensure products are manufactured legally and meet customer specifications. Reporting to the Quality Manager, you will promote a culture of quality and safety throughout the production process, ensuring product excellence at every stage.

Role & Responsibilities:

* Ensure the quality system elements fully comply with Company Practices, Codes of Practice, and customer protocols.

* Maintain and update all component specifications, product specifications, the Stonegate QA and HACCP Manual, Egg Marketing Regulations, and customer specifications as needed.

* Perform egg quality checks as outlined in the QA manual.

* Review, verify, and sign off on all records.

* Assist in investigating complaints and quality issues, providing recommendations for corrective actions and future prevention.

* Conduct detailed inspections of eggs and packaging materials upon request from the QA team, documenting findings in reports.

* Audit relevant sections of the Quality Management System to ensure compliance and report any non-conformances.

Qualifications / Experience:

* Previous experience working as Process Quality Control/ Assurance within a food manufacturing environment.

* Food Safety Level 2
