Autism Support Worker - Ilford East London

Remedy Education are looking for a Autism Support worker to support a young child with ASD for 2 hours a day.

You will visit a care home were the child lives and help support them with their needs and education for 10 hours a week.

You will be working with students who will communicate non-verbally, so being able to use Makaton or PECs will be ideal. You must be comfortable with personal care (feeding and toileting).

As an Autism Autism Support Worker, you will work closely with other staff members and the multidisciplinary therapy team. Recent experience and a genuine passion for working with SEN pupils are essential. All applicants will need to hold a current enhanced Child Workforce DBS and be fully compliant to work in the UK.
