LEAD MLOPS ENGINEER

£75,000 - £90,000

London (Remote - 1 day onsite per month)

COMPANY:

Our client is one of the biggest UK telecoms companies and provides services to over 5,000,000 users. They are looking for a new MLOps Engineer to work closely with the Data Scientists and other Engineers to help move models into production. They currently use AWS as their main cloud service provider.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of ML models and pipelines, in close collaboration with Data Scientists, ML Engineers and Data Engineers
• Drive the adoption of best practices in code quality, design, scalability, and maintainability.
• Mentor and upskill members off the team.
• Maintain and enhance existing ML models, ensuring all models are deployed in production are monitored.
• Stay updated with the latest developments in ML/AI, and related fields to keep the company at the forefront of technological advancements

REQUIREMENTS:

• BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Mathematics, Statistics or related fields.
• Strong coding skills in Python and SQL
• Good knowledge of ML/AI state-of-the-art, principles, practical applications and limitations
• Technical leadership, strong communication skills, mentoring experience
• A background in Software Engineering
• Proven experience in MLOps
