Pitman shift Rotation
As a Shift Engineer, you'll be instrumental in maintaining peak performance at a busy retail production facility. Reporting to the Lead Engineer, you'll work Pittman rotating 12-hour shifts, handling machine breakdowns, maintenance, and improvement projects. Key Responsibilities:
Respond efficiently to machine breakdowns, implementing effective solutions to keep production flowing.
Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), corrective actions, and machine enhancements.
Boost efficiency using continuous improvement techniques and best practices.
Maintain detailed shift reports and manage work orders via the CMMS system.
Support weekend maintenance and contribute to engineering KPIs.
Ensure process equipment operates optimally, reducing downtime, waste, and utility usage.
Collaborate with the Lead Engineer on innovative site improvements.

Who We're Looking For
We're seeking a proactive, results-driven engineer who thrives in a fast-paced environment and shares our client's commitment to quality. You'll bring:
Proven experience in a manufacturing or FMCG setting.
Relevant engineering qualifications (HND, HNC, Degree, NVQ Level 3, or equivalent).
Strong electrical and mechanical expertise; knowledge of pumps, pneumatic valves, and VSDs is a bonus.
Multi-skilled automation experience and excellent fault-finding skills.
A logical, organized approach to problem-solving and a collaborative attitude.
Confidence in autonomous decision-making and clear communication.
Flexibility to provide support as needed, including night shift utility coverage.
