We are looking for a dynamic Rewards Manager to lead reward initiatives, providing advice and council to teams and managers on compensation matters, supporting development opportunities aligned with industry best practices.
About the Role
The Reward Manager is a critical role in the execution of our total reward strategy and the delivery of our annual processes, including pay and bonus reviews. The role will lead on market benchmarking, providing advice and guidance to HR Business Partners and senior leaders, ensuring our approach is balanced between the business
needs, and the retention and attraction of top talent. The role will pro-actively contribute to the development of our total reward strategy as part of our Employee Value Proposition.
- Act as a reward partner, providing comprehensive advice on pay and reward matters aligned with market practice and the Harrods reward strategy.
- Utilise strong understanding of benchmarking and external market practices to tailor advice for distinct business areas.
- Support the development of compensation structures aligned with job family and band structures for better career navigation and reward decisions.
- Be an expert in benchmarking methodology (WTW), independently benchmarking roles and managing the benchmarking processes.
- Oversee the execution of pay reviews, bonus, pay committee, and commission processes, ensuring seamless delivery and effective use of Workday functionality.
- Collaborate with HR and Finance to monitor headcount, budgeting, and forecasting, while keeping up to date with industry trends, legislative developments, and reward practices.
About You
You are a specialist in reward matters with a deep understanding of industry best practices. With strong business acumen, you can effectively link business strategy to people practices. Your analytical skills enable you to dive into the details while keeping sight of the bigger picture.
- You have experience managing internal relationships to ensure the successful delivery of reward initiatives and bring an inquisitive, challenging mindset to continuously improve existing processes
- You possess advanced Excel skills, enabling you to work comfortably with large data sets.
- Your ability to manage multiple projects and tasks in parallel, coupled with your strong communication skills, allows you to liaise with and influence senior stakeholders effectively.
