5-bed specialist residential home for young people aged 13 - 18 with complex mental health and associated risk-taking behaviours.

We are situated walking distance from Stroud town centre allowing access from all major bus and train routes into the town. We offer the following working hours.

* Day Team shift pattern (combination of): 6:30 -14:30 / 14:00 - 22:00 / Long Day 7.00 - 22.00

* Night Team - Waking Night: 21.00 - 7.00

Our aim here is to ensure that the young people we invest in have the best residential experience in a therapeutic and homely environment. Care here is individually tailored to meet their needs and ensure the best outcome by investing in our young people's future.

You will be responsible for the supervision of our young people who display a range of behaviours relating to their mental health following their previous trauma. Participating in activities and engaging our young people around the home and within their daily routine as well as ensuring their educational needs are met.

* Experience in care is desirable but not essential.

* Patience, enthusiasm and resilience

* Level 3 in Residential Childcare

* Company policy only allows staff to drive work cars if they have been driving for 3+ years

We will offer £13 per hour. This will increase to £14 per hour once you obtain the relevant qualification and progress to Senior.

Contract is 37.5 hours a week
