About the School:

The school provides a supportive, nurturing environment for students who have faced challenges in their previous educational experiences. The supports students with unique needs, each with a different set of circumstances that have led to their exclusion at their prior setting. The common factor amongst our students is the difficulty they've encountered in mainstream schooling. We aim to provide these students with a different approach to their education by challenging their past and creating a brighter, more hopeful future.

The schools tailor our approach to the individual needs of each student, helping them develop the skills and resilience to be successful. The school will look at encouraging students to explore their interests and potential career opportunities.

The Role: We are seeking a talented and compassionate Teacher who can support our students, identifying gaps in their learning and delivering engaging, tailored lesson content. Your role will be vital in helping students overcome barriers to learning, rebuild their confidence, and achieve personal and academic growth.

Key Responsibilities:

- Plan and deliver creative, individualized lessons that meet the evolving needs of each student.

- Provide tailored support to students to help them overcome barriers to learning and regain confidence.

- Build strong, trusting relationships with students, fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

- Work closely with colleagues and support staff to ensure that each student's needs are met.

-Communicate effectively with students, parents, and carers to support student progress.

Key Requirements:

- QTS

- A deep understanding of the challenges faced by students with disrupted educational backgrounds.

- A compassionate, empathetic, and patient approach to teaching.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- The ability to adapt and tailor lesson plans to meet individual needs.

- Experience working with students who have faced exclusion or behavioural challenges is desirable but not essential.
