Depot Shift Manager - Nottingham - Distribution/Logistics

Salary C: up to £32K Base Plus Bonus

Our client is a player in the UK Distribution /Logistics Market with a large number of branches across the UK. They are looking for an experienced Shift Manager to join the team at their Nottingham depot.

Role

• Responsibility for actively managing the day-to-day running and operational procedures/performance of this depot with a "hands on approach "
• Leading and motivating a team in the pursuit of demanding cost, productivity and quality targets.
• Responsible for Compliance, Health and Safety and Depot Cost Analysis
• Staff appraisals and disciplinary s when necessary
• Ensuring we meet and exceed challenging network service levels will be a key requirement of this role.
• Evident line management experience in production/logistics/mail/ parcels services environment
• Experience of running a multi shift logistics operation
• Proven record of delivering great service to Customers and managing on-going Customer relationships.
• Experience of managing a diverse workforce including sub- contractors, self- employed drivers and PAYE drivers.
• Experience of delivering a high level service and in budget.
