SQL Data Analyst (Governance, Financial) -£50-55,000- London/Hybrid

Due to exciting growth particularly across Data Governance and Analytics we are looking for a SQL Data Analyst (Governance, Financial) on an initial12-month Fixed Term Contract with every chance of extension.

As our new SQL Data Analyst (Governance, Financial) you will be working closely with the data team to deliver governance and support strategic data projects. You will comfortable writing SQL and able to open SSIS. You will work almost as a Systems Analyst looking at ways of improving how businesses manage data.

 On a daily basis the SQL Data Analyst (Governance, Financial)

• Engage with Developers and review the implementation of Data Products to understand data lineage, review data quality issues and ensure that data is consistent through the data eco system.
• Ensure that data is correctly classified and assist with the identification of critical
• Engage with business stakeholders to review regulatory reporting to identify core data elements, assess data lineage and work with development teams to determine appropriate solutions to automate and future proof requirements.
• Identify and collaborate with data owners and stewards across different departments to ensure data quality, accuracy, and consistency.
• Understand and promote Chaucer’s Data Governance framework.
