Turning / Milling Setter - Operators (Permanent role)
Location: Leicester

Shifts Available:

* Night Shift: Monday to Thursday, 6:00 pm - 6:00 am (4-day working week)

Rate of Pay:

* £43,432/year (£816/week)

* Full 12-hour shifts paid with no breaks taken off

Start Date: Immediate start available
Employment Type: Permanent from day one

Key Responsibilities:

* Setting and operating turning and milling machines in line with production times and customer specifications

* Selecting the correct tooling and fixtures

* Producing quality components within specified tolerances

* Inspecting and measuring components using various gauges

* Reading and interpreting engineering drawings

* Complying with all company health, safety, and environmental procedures

The Candidate:

* CNC Turner: Previous experience setting and operating CNC turning machines, working with Fanuc and Mazak controls

* CNC Miller: Previous experience setting and operating CNC milling machines, mainly with Haas and Mazak controls

* Ability to select correct tooling, fixtures, and programs from job setting sheets

* Skilled in producing quality components to customer specifications

* Proficient in using various gauges for inspection and measurement

* Able to read and interpret engineering drawings

* Committed to complying with health, safety, and environmental rules

* Attention to detail and experience working in a fast-paced environment
