Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Multi-skilled Shift Engineer - Electrical Bias to join our team within a Data Centre environment. This role involves providing multi-skilled maintenance services across electrical and mechanical disciplines, ensuring both reactive and proactive maintenance to operational equipment. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining reliability, efficiency, and safety in line with project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct maintenance, repairs, and calibration of electrical, mechanical, and instrumentation plant systems.

*

Carry out modifications and installations as required.

*

Ensure key performance indicators (KPIs) are met.

*

Liaise with contractors and external suppliers when necessary.

*

Accurately complete required paperwork and produce timely reports.

*

Maintain high standards of work in line with company policies and procedures.

*

Identify and report deficiencies that may impact service delivery, health and safety, or environmental risks.

*

Ensure all work is conducted safely and diligently, both personally and for any supervised personnel.

Qualifications & Skills:

*

Essential:

*

NVQ Level 3 qualification in Engineering Maintenance (multi-discipline).

*

18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification.

*

Strong knowledge of building statutory compliance.

*

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.

*

Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

*

Effective verbal and written communication skills.

*

Highly Desirable:

*

Experience with critical equipment such as UPS and Standby Generator Systems.

*

High Voltage (HV) / Low Voltage (LV) Appointed Persons certification.
