About the Role:We are looking for a committed and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support pupils in KS1 and KS2, with a particular focus on children with SEN. You will work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to provide tailored support that helps students achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 and small group support for children with SEN, adapting your approach to meet individual needs.
- Assist teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.
- Support the preparation of resources and activities to enhance learning.
- Collaborate with colleagues to implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
- Help maintain a positive, safe, and supportive learning environment.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience working with children in a primary school setting, particularly with SEN pupils.
- A patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach to working with children.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- A commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive environment.
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
