300 North Recruitment are seeking several freelance Compartmentation Surveyors on behalf of a leading passive fire protection contractor based just outside of London.

Up to 12 weeks on site starting as soon as possible.
Up to £300 per day dependant on experience.
Follow on work within the London area with the same client covering Healthcare, Education, Commercial and MOD projects.
Responsibilities:

Conducting thorough fire compartmentation surveys on a large commercial building in North London.
Identifying and assessing fire-stopping issues, breaches in fire barriers, and compliance with fire safety regulations.
Preparing detailed reports, including recommendations for remediation.
Liaising with clients, contractors, and project managers to communicate findings and provide expert guidance on fire compartmentation solutions.
Ensuring all surveys are completed in line with current fire safety regulations and building codes.
Required:

Experience in compartmentation surveying is essential for this role.
Fire Stopping Inspection qualification and PASMA ticket for elevated surveys.
Proven experience in fire compartmentation surveys and knowledge of relevant regulations (e.g., BS 9999, BS 9991, etc.).
Familiar with survey recording software/apps/ systems such as OneTrace, Boris, Bolster etc.
Strong understanding of passive fire protection systems, fire doors, and fire-stopping materials.
Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for report writing and client interaction.
