We are seeking a dedicated Cover Supervisor to join the school's team. You'll need experience working within alternative provision, ideally with students who have SEMH, ASD, or ADHD. In this role, you will supervise classes during teacher absences, ensuring students remain focused, engaged, and supported in their learning. You will also play a key part in fostering positive relationships with students, encouraging them to take ownership of their learning and behavior.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage classrooms in the absence of the teacher
Ensure students remain on task with set work and follow school policies
Build strong relationships with students, helping them develop socially and emotionally
Collaborate with teaching staff to support the school's educational goals
Manage behavior effectively, ensuring a calm and productive environment
We are looking for someone who has:

Previous experience working with young people, particularly those with SEMH, ASD, or ADHD
Confidence in supervising and managing classroom activities
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
GCSEs in English and Maths (grade C or above, or equivalent)
The ability to work as part of a dynamic team, supporting teachers and students alike
Flexibility in travelling to the school (own transport is desirable)
