As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will work in the Integrated Project Team (IPT) engaged in the development of next generation Electronic Warfare/Radar systems.

Job Responsibilities:

As a systems engineer responsibilities may include but not limited to the following:

  • Develop and derive project requirements.
  • Manage the flow of requirements from system level to sub-system level ensuring traceability of system requirements.
  • Generation Test documentation for product release
  • Generation of documentation required for product certification
  • Supportthe acceptance of the solution internally and externally to the customer
  • Provision of requirements management on assigned projects
  • Production of design documentation for Design Reviews
  • Ensuring thatsolutionsare ready to enter design reviews
  • Interfacing and supporting the software and hardware team in system engineering activities and technical workshops
  • Communicatingthe system designs to the Project Design Authority and Engineering Manager and the customer
  • Support customer meetings when required
  • Review supplier documentation ensuring alignment with the project and customer requirements.
  • Management and supervision of work packages as required
  • Support the technical management of subcontractors and generate the required documentation when needed.
  • Review subcontractorsdocumentations ensuring alignment with the project and customer requirements.
  • Support Quest Global in growing its system engineering capability
  • Provide support to the Quest Global site lead in providing project and system engineering expertise when its needed
  • Complywith Company policiesand procedures(includingtheBusiness Management System);
Work Experience

Skills, Qualifications and Experience required:

Mandatory

  • System design experience throughout the lifecycle of the project.
  • Experience of verification and validation (V&V) activities to achieve certification and acceptance
  • Exposure to systems integration and/or test experience of complex, high-reliability systems
  • Experience of defining verification methods and generating tests requirements/procedures
  • Experience of showing traceability of V&V tests to systems requirements & generating/updating Verification Matrices (VCRMs)
  • EMC and Environmental testing
  • Experience/knowledge of requirements management in DOORS
  • Experience of working in multi-disciplined Engineering teams
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Able to generate high-quality documentation (test specifications, procedures & reports)
  • Experience in producing documentations and being involved in design reviews such PDR, CDR and TRR

Desirable

  • EW experience that involves ECM
  • Product development and certification
  • Leading a technical team through design reviews
  • Work package leadership

Qualifications

  • HND/HNC, degree (BSc/BEng/MSc/MEng) in a relevant STEM-based subject or equivalent experience.
  • UK/ EU citizenship is mandatory to be able to clear the background checks and obtain SC clearance
  • Current valid SC clearance would be an advantage
