Mechanical Design Engineer

I am working with a well established company that specialise in the supply of flow meters, level sensors, instrumentation, and control systems throughout the UK. With a view to grow and expand, they are now seeking a confident mechanical design engineer to contribute to the team.

The Role

Work with the wider team to design, develop and test new and existing product lines
CAD model creation and update revisions of parts
Work with supplier quotes for parts and services
Management of costs against bill of materials
Attend site visits for client if necessary for projectsRequirements

Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar
3+ years in a design role
Knowledge of Autocad and Solidworks
Experience collaborating with R&D and Product Development projects
Ideally have experience in an electromechanical environmentPackage

Circa £45k doe
25 days holiday plus bank holidays
