This is a fantastic International Payroll Accountant (EU) position that will give the successful candidate the opportunity to oversee my clients European subsidiaries, covering countries including Netherlands, Belgium, UK and France. The role will partner with finance and people/HR teams and actively own the function out of the City of London office.

During this expansion and through multiple acquisitions their headcount is growing and so their teams are looking for an experience and ambitious payroll accountant to join the team.

Description

As the International Payroll Accountant you will be responsible for:

• Partnering with the external payroll providers for each EU country
• Owning the payroll for EU countries
• Ensuring international tax regulations are known, managed and enforced at all points
• Accurate and timely calculation of tax withholding's and benefit deduction
• Overseeing the maintenance of the payroll system and regularly evaluation areas of system/process improvement
• Lead monthly payroll reporting processes, such as preparing journals and performing general ledger reconciliations
• Performing regular payroll audits to ensure accurate employee details and pay
• Act at main point of contact for employee pay queries
• Exercising highest degree of confidentiality at all times

Profile

The successful candidate:

• European payroll experience
• Experienced with accounting/payroll/HR systems and excel
• Able to demonstrate strong relationship building across internal and external stakeholders
• Able to perform day-t0-day payroll function independently and confidently
• Experienced in process improvement and implementation
• Enjoys working at a fast pace
• Highly detail orientated
• Fantastic communicator

Job Offer
