Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias)

Contek are working with a company based in Wolverhampton who are looking for a Maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias to join their manufacturing facility. This company have been in business for decades and have steadily grown into a large group with a large order book.

They provide a variety of services in which you will hold an integral part in maintaining and repairing. Experience working on CNC's will be an advantage in this instance as the role will be working primarily out of their machine shop. This will include working on Mills, Lathes, Cutters and Presses for example.

Responsibilities;

- Planned and Reactive maintenance on machine tools from CNC's to conventional machinery
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues
- Experience working with PLC's
- Overhaul and repair of equipment
- Working alone or as part of a multi-skilled team
- Maintain records of maintenance activity
- Ensure safe working throughout using PPE provided

Requirements:

- Proven experience working on machine tools and with a good understanding of PLC's
- Ability to work to electrical and engineering drawings
- Good problem solving abilities and attention to detail
- Proficiency in diagnosing electrical issues
- Relevant qualifications or extensive practical experience

This position is running a double shift pattern (AM/PM);

Week1
Monday to Friday
06:00AM - 13:30PM

Week 2
Monday to Friday
13:30PM - 21:00PM

Shift premium will be added on top of your salary.
