A great opportunity has arisen for a dedicated field service engineer to join an expanding company who are working with some of the biggest companies in the area.

Job Description:

Responsible for providing routine maintenance, attending breakdowns, warranty repairs and technical support to our customers on compressors and ancillary equipment.
The ideal candidate will be flexible and willing to undertake new tasks or assignments at short notice.
Although based in the North of England area, travel throughout the UK and overseas is required to meet the business needs. Beneficial Skills / Qualifications:

Ability to work unsupervised and be self motivated
High level of communication skills with both customers and colleagues
Mechanical Engineering background / Ideally apprenticeship trained
Reciprocating compressor, maintenance and service experience preferably with Belliss & Morcom Compressors and compressed air systems
Electrical and control system knowledge, with the ability to troubleshoot problems associated with these systems
Knowledge of associated ancillary equipment, dryers, cooling towers etc.
Prepared to be flexible to accommodate customer/business requirements.Additional information:

Salary - £40K - £50K DOE
