We are pleased to be working with an excellent, reputable company based in Leeds, City Centre who are looking for an experienced Credit Controller to join them on a full time, permanent basis. This will be a standalone role within the finance team, you will be reporting into the finance manager, but will attend finance meetings to provide reports and updates on the ledger/debt.
Duties will include:
- Chasing payments via telephone and email across all sites
- Performing credit checks for new applicants
- Opening new accounts
- Processing weekly debtor downloads for management meetings
- Raising invoices and credit notes
- Supplier statement reconciliations
- Dealing with insurance claims
- Matching invoices to credits
- Reconciliation of cash and posting to the ledger
- Other adhoc duties
