About the Role

Capio Recruitment is working with a respected law firm in Nottingham that is looking to expand its Family Law department with the addition of a Family Solicitor. This role offers the opportunity to manage a varied caseload of private family law matters, including divorce, financial settlements, child arrangements, and cohabitation disputes. Key Responsibilities

• Handling a range of private family law matters, including divorce, financial settlements, and child arrangements
• Providing clear, practical legal advice tailored to client needs
• Representing clients in negotiations and, where necessary, court proceedings
• Drafting legal documents, including consent orders and cohabitation agreements
• Managing cases independently while contributing to the team’s overall success
• Engaging in business development and networking to support the firm’s growth

Candidate Requirements

• Qualified Solicitor with experience in Family Law
• Strong technical knowledge across a broad range of family law matters
• Excellent client care skills, with a compassionate and professional approach
• Ability to manage a caseload effectively and work both independently and as part of a team
• Experience with mediation or collaborative law (desirable but not essential)
