Position Overview As a Tax Senior, you will be crucial in providing high-quality tax compliance services to a diverse portfolio of clients. You will be responsible for managing client relationships, preparing corporate tax computations, and ensuring the timely submission of tax returns. This position offers the opportunity to develop your technical expertise while working collaboratively with a supportive team.
Responsibilities -
Manage a portfolio of clients, including sole traders, partners, trusts, and personal tax returns

Liaise with clients and third parties to gather necessary tax return information

Prepare corporate tax computations for inclusion in financial statements and submission to HMRC

Ensure clients are promptly notified of their tax liabilities

Address ad-hoc client questions and inquiries regarding personal tax affairs

Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge of the corporation and business tax

Engage in written negotiations on HMRC enquiries

Manage WIP and billing processes

Communicate with HMRC to ensure compliance with relevant statutory requirements
Requirements -
Proven experience in a similar tax role

Strong knowledge of UK tax legislation and compliance requirements

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to manage workload effectively and meet deadlines under pressure

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel

Enthusiasm for continuous learning and professional development in taxation

Relevant professional qualifications (e.g., ATT, CTA, or ACA/ACCA)
