Working in a busy and expanding Security & Vetting team processing requests for pre-employment screening and national security vetting. This role is perfect for an individual who is task orientated and thrives in a process driven environment but also enjoys an element of customer relations. Strong communication skills both written and verbal as the role requires communicating with internal and external stakeholders.

Administration Co-Ordinator Benefits and Package:

  • Monday to Friday (09:00 - 17:30)

Administration Co-Ordinator Responsibilities:

  • Receive, process and manage Security Clearance applications, transfers and renewals, and pre-employment screening applications working with third parties as and where needed.
  • Ensure all Security Clearance requests are processed in a timely way and ensure high levels of customer service are delivered.
  • Maintain accurate records on the Vetting Database and Website.
  • Assist with the issuing of invoices.
  • Update security clearance records eg change of address etc.
  • Compile routine management reports.
  • Respond to queries from member companies and staff.
  • General administration support for the Head of Department and Assistant Head of Department.
  • Participate and collaborate in team meetings.

Administration Co-Ordinator Skills and Competencies:

  • UK citizen, with the last 5 years residency in the UK with ability to gain security clearance at Security Check (SC) level.
  • Self-motivated individual who is able to work independently and part of a team.
  • Confident and clear communicator.
  • Customer service focused, particularly through timely delivery of functions.
  • Attention to detail, methodological and organised.
  • Strong co-ordination skills with capacity to prioritise and plan work to meet deadlines.
  • Sound MS Office skills.
  • Experience of processing tasks through databases/CRM systems desirable.
