Our client, a well-established name in the manufacturing sector, is currently seeking a Multi-Skilled Engineer to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive and versatile engineer looking to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.

Key Responsibilities:

* Carry out both planned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance on a wide range of production equipment

* Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults and implement effective solutions

* Ensure minimal downtime by responding quickly and efficiently to breakdowns

* Contribute to continuous improvement projects across the site

* Support installation and commissioning of new machinery

* Maintain clear and accurate maintenance records

* Ensure compliance with health and safety standards at all times

Key Skills & Experience:

* Recognised qualification in engineering - NVQ Level 3 / HNC / City & Guilds or equivalent in Mechanical and/or Electrical Engineering

* Proven experience in a manufacturing environment

* Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills (mechanical and electrical)

* Good understanding of PLCs (basic fault-finding is a bonus)

* Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, and automated machinery

* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

* Strong communication and problem-solving skills
