Our client is seeking an Operations Manager to join their team based in Zambia. You will oversee and coordinate the company operations through supervision of Operations teams and oversees the integrity of our client's property.
Plan teams' schedules and estimate costs to ensure workflow meets required deadlines and budget.
Supervise and evaluate the performance of Operations teams and address any issues that may arise.
Automation of plant project management.
Monitor availability, movement, and requirement of stocks under Inventory Management.
Enforce Safety and Health policies, Procedures and Laws throughout the production flow.
Budget and Cost Control. Develop and manage the Operations departments budgets, tracking expenses and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
Devise and implement suitable internal controls and procedures for all Operations functions.
Leadership. Overseeing and leading the Operations departments. The Operations Manager is a member of the Executive Committee (EXCO).
Liaise with other Managers to formulate objectives and understand requirements, and ensure subordinates understand and apply departmental goals.
