Quality Inspector - ECSS Standards

Initial 6 months

Contract opportunity has arisen for Quality Inspector working on production and test for Space Equipment production, to approved quality standards in particular ECSS-Q-ST-70-08, 28 & 38.

Working across 2 shift patterns (ealry and lates) you will be responsible for ensuring the correct "as build as design" validation.

Key Responsibilities:

Promote quality first mind-set through Production operations aimed at prevention of non-quality in the cleanroom.
Perform design and integrity verification inspections in accordance with inspection criteria in addition to ECSS-Q-ST-70-08, 28 & 38 to ensure that the build complies with established design and quality rules.
Identify and record non-conformities and investigate
Support Root cause analysis of non-quality events with Project Quality to prevent further occurrence

Need to have experience with:

Experience with ECSS standards inc ECSS-Q-SR-70-8, 28 & 38
Understanding of AS9100 quality standards
Proficient at interpreting Mechanical and Electrical Engineering Drawings
Clean Driving Licence
