By using their extensive in-house experience, they aim to provide an unrivalled service tailored to their client's individual's needs. To date, our client has successfully completed technical projects throughout the South of England for local authorities, residential and commercial developers, main contractors and consultants either in the role of principal contractor or subcontractor which range from small spills through to large multi-technology soil and groundwater remediation / development platform preparation on brownfield sites.

About the opportunity:

As part of my client's ongoing expansion and confirmed future workload, they have identified the need to recruit a permanent Remediation Engineer to assist with the technical delivery of remediation projects.

As a Remediation Engineer, your role will involve a mix of both office and site based working. You will be responsible for assisting with the production of remediation strategies, materials management plans, method statements and risk assessments; monitoring environmental emissions; supervising site activities such as excavations; setting up and maintaining soil and water treatment systems; carrying out verification contamination sampling; arranging laboratory and site geotechnical / earthworks testing; ensuring site records are up to date and overseeing and tracking material movements to name just a few duties.

About the requirements:

As a Remediation Engineer, you will be degree qualified in a related discipline (civil engineering, environmental science or geology) and hold a minimum of 2 years' experience in remediation activities.

A valid driving license is essential as the role will involve a reasonable amount of travel to projects throughout the UK and may require you to work away from home (full subsistence will be covered).
