MMP Consultancy are currently seeking Disrepair Surveyor for a Bedfordshire public sector housing organisation. £40-£50 per hour LTD flexible for right candidate (Inside IR35).

50% on site 50% in office.

RICS Accreditation is essential (Qualifications or Professional Membership)

About the role

Management of Disrepair Surveying from inception to completion, answering letter of claims with inspections and reports.
Booking own appointments covering up to 15 inspections per week.
Undertake scott schedules as required.
Managing a high volume of work across a patch.
Knowledge of Schedule of Rates.
Take full control of the surveying duties, ensuring the completion of works with dedicated contractors.
Autonomy on decisions which are required to ensure quality work.
Post inspection of works as required to ensure quality.
Essential:

MRICS, MCIOB or RICS Accredited qualification.
Extensive experience in delivering complex/disrepair service for social housing.
Detailed Knowledge and understanding of pre and post-inspection processes, building pathology and repairs techniques.
