Opportunity:

Are you a water modelling specialist looking to take their career to the next level? Our latest opportunity as a Senior Water Quality Modeller could be the job for you! You'll be joining a major multidisciplinary firm on their water management team, aiding clients such as NGOs, Central Government and local authorities in an effort to support strategic investment into critical water infrastructure. You'll be playing a part in pushing nature positive, sustainable solutions to water management related issues such as farming irrigation, availability of clean drinking water and general supporting infrastructure projects. As the Senior Water Quality Modeller, you will be having a say in how the company forms its water management solutions, cooperating with other members of your team, as well as engineers, climate analysts and environmental scientists to produce strategies that enhance and protect our environment and its water.

Responsibility:

As the newest Senior Water Quality Modeller, you'll be joining an already established and experienced team, working alongside the Technical Authority of water quality, coordinating and delivering water quality modelling investigations. As previously stated, you'll be working alongside other environmental specialists as part of a multifaceted team, aimed at providing high quality fully integrated service to company clients. This will involve undertaking a role in bid preparation, business development and leading on developments and frameworks.

Requirements:

To be a successful Senior Water Quality Modeller, you will need extensive experience and knowledge across multiple areas. This includes experience with water quality modelling experience using industry standard software such as InfoWorks ICM, Mike, Delft and SAGIS and knowledge of multiple environmental water quality regulations, such as the Bathing Water Directive, SOAF (Storm Overflow Assessment Framework), Water Directive Framework and SODRP (Storm Overflows Discharge Reduction Plans). Alongside the technical experience and understanding, you'll also need to a member of a relevant professional body (even better if you're chartered!), capable of handling multiple projects at once and have strong numerical and report writing skills.
