Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 4:30pm

Are you passionate about supporting young people with Special Educational Needs? Join our dedicated team at our SEN School in East Acton and make a real difference in the lives of students aged 11-16.

About the Role:
We are seeking a committed SEN Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 and small group support to students with a range of additional needs, including Autism, ADHD, Speech and Language difficulties, and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. You will work closely with the class teacher and wider support team to create a nurturing learning environment that encourages every student to thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide tailored support to students with SEN on a 1:1 or small group basis

*

Assist with classroom activities, helping students access the curriculum

*

Promote positive behaviour and emotional well-being

*

Support with personal care when required

*

Build strong, supportive relationships with students, staff, and families

*

Encourage independence and confidence in learning

Requirements:

*

Previous experience working with children or young people with SEN (preferred)

*

A patient, compassionate, and resilient approach

*

Strong communication and teamwork skills

*

Ability to adapt to the individual needs of students

*

A passion for making a positive impact on young people's lives
