We're working in partnership with a well-established and growing specialist subcontractor in the construction industry who are looking to appoint a talented Quantity Surveyor (degree qualified with likely 4-5 years experience)

This is a permanent, 100% remote role offering a competitive salary of £35,000.

*

Working hours are full time but exact start / finish times are slightly flexible around the chosen Quantity Surveyors preference.

*

Our client has a strong presence in the market with an annual turnover of £6 million, and this position will play a key role in supporting the Commercial Director in driving continued business success.

Our client will provide all phone / laptop / software - this is an exciting opportunity to be part of a rapidly growing business, where you will have exposure to all parts of the business working alongside the Commercial Director.

Projects are located all over house counties/ south of England with focus on Central London (fitouts) and Hertfordshire (high end resi). Ad hoc site visits may be required.

Preferred Requirements:

*

Proficient in the procurement of materials, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery to project sites.

*

Skilled in preparing detailed estimates and cost analyses to support project planning and decision-making.

*

Experienced in processing applications for payment, ensuring accurate and timely invoicing.

*

Strong ability to interpret and apply contractual terms and conditions to drive project success.

*

Excellent communication and collaboration skills to liaise effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.

*

Drywall / subcontractor background useful but not essential

Preferred Qualifications:

• Degree-qualified in a relevant field, with 4-5 years' experience as a Quantity Surveyor.

• Solid understanding of the construction industry and the commercial function.

• Confident using industry-standard software and digital tools to support your work
