The Recruitment Bunker are recruiting exclusively for a strong Programme Manager within the Automotive Sector.

The Programme Manager will have extensive automotive experience be responsible for the management of the full vehicle projects lifecycle within the group, including timing, delivery, and cost.

Responsibilities

Company Policies: Manage and follow the quality, health, safety, and welfare policies of the company

Responsible for overseeing the delivery of full vehicle projects supported by multi-disciplined Engineering team. This will include Cost, Quality, Timing, Delivery, Resources & Profitability

Leading & mentoring a team of project engineers to ensure delivery of projects within their control

Supporting Marketing / Sales to explore new opportunities and construction of budgets for aftermarket products

Ensuring that all projects have Purchase Order coverage for the correct value as per the DRVN budget and negotiations

Managing, monitoring, and controlling the timing and delivery of each project according to quoted deliverables and gateway requirements

Liaising with core engineering management to set expectations, review objectives and ensure appropriate deployment of project resources

Reporting weekly and at monthly governance reviews the project team's performance in the management meetings

Demonstrating leadership within your project teams through strong communication and governance

To directly interface with the associated DRVN customers, ensuring that the requirements of the projects are clearly understood and delivered as per the agreed budgets

To provide their team with daily motivation and to provide a positive outlook for their subordinates

To ensure their team upholds DRVN's quality accreditation and other specific DRVN systems

To uphold the core values of DRVN.

Measurements

The Programme Manager will be measured against the following KPI's:

Project Delivery timing

Project Delivery Cost Vs. Budget. - Profitability

DRVN NPI and metrics (project gateway, issues management, DVP completion, CAD completion, Release management, etc.)

Customer satisfaction

Team satisfaction

Business development and team growth

Team efficiency - actual hours vs. invoiced hours.

Essential Skills

Degree qualified or equivalent in a relevant Engineering subject

Relevant and proven experience of successfully delivering a full vehicle programme through to launch, in the role of a Project/Programme Manager within a fast paced, forward thinking automotive company or similar environment.

Have significant Project Management experience and have used Project Management systems

Ability to interface with senior stakeholders, customers, and suppliers on both operational and statistical level

Excellent communication skills both verbal and written

Flexible attitude and ability to manage one's own time and prioritise workload accordingly

Full driving licence as travel will be required as part of the role

Confident approach to team interaction

Show leadership and directional skills within own subject area

Must have IDLR/Full Rights to Work in UK - Sponsorship or Work Permits will not be accepted/ provided
