Jewson, a leading building materials distributor in Northern Europe, is on the hunt for a Field Sales Executive to join our business who's as passionate about great service as we are.
You'll be working for the Jewson Regional Sales Team; however, the role is predominantly field based covering the North Norfolk area in and around our Fakenham branch.

Hours: 7.30 - 5.00 Monday to Friday, mainly out on the road managing your own time with customers
To assist you in this role, you will be provided with a mobile phone, laptop and a company car. Therefor, a UK driving license, with no more than 6 points, is a requirement of this role.
Key Responsibilities

Find and develop new business via cold calling, lead follow ups, and general customer interaction

Support customers with the on-boarding of their new account, ensuring that they start and continue to spend

Target dormant & lapsed accounts to reactivate them

Develop trusted relationships with a portfolio of customers to maintain and improve profitability

Acquire a thorough understanding of customer needs and requirements, expanding relationships by continuously proposing solutions that meet the customer's needs

Work with all functions and branch teams to ensure that all opportunities are leveraged

When on site must comply with all EHS policies and procedures

Required Skills and Experience
-
A full UK Driving Licence with no more than 6 points

Strong direct sales skills and commercial focus

Current knowledge of building materials and of the current construction market would be beneficial to the role

Proven experience in customer facing business and a proactive sales and customer focused environment delivering results.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills; written, phone and face to face.
