Teaching Assistant

Tradewind Recruitment are recruiting for a full time teaching assistant to work at a secondary school in Pocklington, starting 2nd September 2024 and lasting until at least December 2024. This booking is to cover a vacant position, so there's potential for this role to become permanent if the candidate enjoys the role and is successful. Payment for this position will be between £90 and £95 per day depending on experience and qualifications.

This role will involve supporting particular students to ensure that they have the ability to learn and flourish. Experience working with SEND students or students with additional needs is important for this role. With multiple positions available, the exact nature of the role can potentially be tailored to the nature of the candidates experience.

Located in Pocklington, the school is easy to access from Hull and York and has an onsite car park that is free to use and always has spaces. The school is part of a small, local academy trust which has an excellent reputation in the local area. Opportunities with this school will open up opportunities in other schools within the trust.

• Has experience supporting within UK schools
• Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
