Job Title: CNC 5-Axis Miller Setter (Programming Capability)
Location: BRixworth, Northamptonshire.
Salary: £37,440 per year 
Overtime Pay: £25 per hour (midweek), £30 per hour (weekends)
Hours: 38 hours per week
Annual Leave: 25 days + Bank Holidays

Job Overview:

We are looking for an experienced CNC 5-Axis Miller Setter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with Siemens controls and a deep understanding of working with tight tolerances (1-2 microns) across various materials, including 316, Duplex, Super Duplex, and Titanium. This role involves batch work (10-100 pieces) and offers an exciting opportunity to work with a DMU 75 Mono Block machine.

Responsibilities:

Set up and operate 5-axis CNC milling machines.
Program and operate Siemens controlled 5th axis machines.
Work to tight tolerances, with a focus on precision (1-2 microns).
Handle materials such as 316 stainless steel, Duplex, Super Duplex, Titanium, and more.
Perform batch work, typically producing 10-100 pieces.
Read and interpret 2D technical drawings.
Inspect your own work to ensure quality standards are met.Requirements:

Proven experience with 5-axis CNC milling machines.
Strong ability to read and understand 2D technical drawings.
Ability to inspect and measure your own work.
Knowledge of Siemens controls.
Experience working with high-performance materials.
Previous experience with batch production work.
