Our client, a well-established manufacturing business based in Wolverhampton, is seeking an experienced Finance Director to lead the finance function, drive business performance, and support strategic decision-making. This is a key leadership role with the opportunity to make a significant impact in a dynamic and growing business.

Key responsibilities of the Finance Director:

• Lead and manage the finance team, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting

• Support the senior leadership team with strategic financial planning

• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management

• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and company policies

• Drive process improvements and financial controls

• Provide commercial insight to support growth and profitability

• Liaise with external stakeholders including auditors, banks, and HMRC

Key essentials of the Finance Director:

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA)

• Proven experience in a senior finance role, ideally in manufacturing

• Strong leadership and communication skills

• Commercially minded with a hands-on approach
