A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join our Planned Investment team, who deliver an ambitious and diverse projects portfolio. This includes capital investment programmes such as re-roofing, doors, kitchens, bathrooms and windows renewals, M&E and refurbishment projects and retrofit projects.
As a Projects Assistant, you will be involved with the integral day-to-day administration duties including but not limited to pre-construction tasks, diary management and record keeping and assisting with procurement of services. Some of your duties may include:
- Assisting in producing and monitoring KPIs and taking necessary action to ensure the agreed standards are achieved
- Assisting with all pre-construction tasks working closely with the Project Manager
- Contributing to the maintenance and development of Departmental Operational Plans; producing standard operating plans for area of work
- Liaising with Technical Inspectors to arrange inspections of completed works and Health & Safety inspections
- System record keeping, team diary management, set up meetings face to face or Teams, take meeting notes and action logs
- Responsible for coordination of health and safety and operational maintenance manuals handover packs and information for planned works upon completion of works on site.
Our ideal candidate is someone who has excellent communication and writing skills and can prioritise working within a fast-paced environment whilst maintaining a positive attitude. Good IT skills and knowledge of using Microsoft applications are a must.
Hours and location
This role offers flexible hybrid working, with 35 hours per week worked between 08:30am to 4:30pm Monday to Friday, with a minimum of three days in our offices in Clifton. There may be the occasional need to work out of hours.
