• Band 6 Occupational Therapist Roles

• Full or part time

• Role 1) OT with experience in assessment and discharge planning in a busy acute medicine environment.Broad clinical experience in acute settings essential.

• Role 2)Assessment of complex equipment and adaptations
  • Experience of working with patients with a neurological diagnosis
  • Laison with council adaptations team for major adaptations referrals and completing joint visits
  • Working with clients in their own homes, working with families and carers
  • Car driver essential, this post is borough wide
• Role 3)The post is on a specialist neuro rehabilitation unit so experience of working with this group of patients is essential, and preferable that this experience was gained in a hopsital setting. Experience of leadership and team development would be preferable
• Role 4)The post is to provide cover Band 6 Long-term sicknesses and a Maternity leave of 20 hrs. Working in the Cardiology/Respiratory service - essential working in this speciality is not required but would require experience in NHS working.Good knowledge of assessment, discharge processes, equipment provision and team working. Car driver but not essential.
